Senoj and the Loop of Life
Return the stolen artifact to its sacred place of origin.
Move around using WASD, Space to jump and E to interact. Best enjoyed in Fullscreen.
Use the buttons to rotate the temple's architecture and navigate your way through the ancient ruins. After all, you are Senoj Anaidni, one of the greatest "adventurers" the world has ever seen.
An ominous group tasked you with returning the "Loop of Life" an ancient artifact of great importance to the natural balance to the temple where it came from. It was lifted from there not to long a go by some no-good archeologist and put in a at the museum - where it definitely does not belong!
For you to not get your hands too dirty the omious client already arranged for the artifact to be stolen from the museum. Your job will simply be to go into the deadly temple all by yourself, push some buttons and deliver the Loop of Life back where it belongs. Not too hard we asume? You got this right?
Credits
"Senoj and the Loop of Life" was created von den Allroggens for the Game Maker's Toolkit Jam 2025.
The Allroggens you asked? That is Balduin as the game designer & programmer and Arthur as the artist & narrative lead. Resolving around the theme "Loop" Balduin was quick to suggest a 3D-platformer with a simple puzzle mechanic. On that bright brain spark Arthur soon came up with the narrative idea of reappropriation. So the setting and design was set.
Flipping the classic archeologist story we all know and love but which has been told one too many times on the big screen by now.
This game was created over the course of 4 days with Balduins focus mainly on programming, level design and overall tasks whereas Arthur delivered the intro cutscene as well as assets and graphic design. Sounds and music are taken from the Universal Sound FX and Ultimate Game Music Collection.
