spezial test - level design assignment
UNPACK THE ZIP BEFORE YOU PLAY
This is the part of the project I am using for one of my game design level design assignments.
The goal was to create a playable level design difficulty progression using the least possible parameters.
In my sequence I am changing the size of the player capsule component - I essentially shrink the player on the X and Y.
The simple task asks the player to overcome a jumping puzzle. During internal testing I discovered that I needed to also change the scale and position of the targets to get a notable difficulty increase.
To measure player performance and hopefully difficulty the game tracks the players completion time, attempts and death-location. I worked on that feature a lot in the last few weeks and it is more designed to fit the larger SPRUNG game. I hope the tracked data will be usefull even in such a small scenario as the "spezial test".
